Our story begins 11 years ago when Victor invented the Pet Playgrounds Dog Fence after his first dog ran away and was killed by a car. He realized that people needed an affordable but incredibly reliable method to keep dogs in their yard even if they can dig, climb or jump over traditional fencing systems. Victor is pictured with his late dog, Goya who won several awards for their agility feats.
Now, let's fast forward to 2016. Victor has always had a passion for two things: dogs and soccer. When his brother and his nephew started playing soccer, Victor realized when kids were playing soccer on a plain unmarked field, they had to keep running to get the ball after every bad kick - and kids stopped playing relatively soon. Soon Victor and Jamie were re-engineering many of the same components Pet Playgrounds used to create its dog fencing system to create a unique and portable soccer field that could be used virtually anywhere.
It all started with a sketch, knowing that we would use many of the flexible and strong materials that Pet Playgrounds has been known for providing to protect dogs of all sizes. After each round of prototyping they tested soccer field - first with friends and family, and then with kids from local soccer teams.
After years of prototyping, testing and reiterating we finally came up with our first production version, which is ready for pre-order NOW. We will start shipping our Play Soccer Anywhere Kit February 1, 2020. During our pre-order stage we are offering our full kit (including shipping) for $899 - a $100 savings.
